Operation was a complete success, thanks in no small part to your kind words <3 The cats were actually the trickiest part, at least Holst was; he's the brown tabby. At first I was going to do diagonal stripes, but that just made the square look like the Nabisco logo. It wasn't until I started laying out the beads I got the idea to do the curl. Even then, I obsessed over getting the browns right. Luckily, he likes to hang out in the kitchen while I work, so I had a reference right then and there.

That's so cute! The abstract cats are the best part, but the comforter is really clever, too.
